Tintagel, St. Michael's Mount, Land's End & Minack Theatre

Many memories all in one day!

Tintagel

Although we made a trip here with Travis and Katherine a couple of months prior I never get tired of this view.

We spent the night at the Tintagel Hotel.

Tried pulling the Sword from the Stone.

This time with some of our favorite senior missionaries Elder and Sister Lewis.

Foxglove

Love this view!

Due to high tide we didn't make it to the beach but Elder Lewis braved the rocks.

Old post office in Tintagel. I love the design of the stone walls.

Saint Michael's Mount

A small island just off the tip of Cornwall. At low tide you can walk across the causeway. We took a boat out and walked back. We toured the castle, abbey and the gardens and had an ice cream.

The Giants heart turned to stone.

Parts of the Castle

The Gardens
Mediterranean type with succulents

Walking back via the Causeway.

Lsnd's End
We traveled on to Land's End, the most southern tip of the UK.

Had a Cornish Pasty with Paddington Bear.

This is the first and last mailbox in the UK. It is currently out of service.

Our last stop was The Minack Theatre where watched the play, Treasure Island. It is a beautiful outdoor theatre on the coast. I was a little chilly as the evening wore on but we stuck it out.

Before the show started we hiked down to beach so I could take my shoes off and step into the beautiful blue green ocean. A little chilly.

A little chilly.
Our view of the stage.

Beautiful clouds as we were leaving.

Hikes & fun with the missionaries

We were able to go on a few hikes with the missionaries this month. Hiking the Garth was cold but fun hiking with Sister Timothy and Sister...
